Ten believes the best health insurance is that which covers only low-cost healthy people. If they get sick, their coverage should be dropped. As in all things, merit is determined by how much it personally costs Ten.

Ted, > Opt out? They make it sound like its a choice. Most people don't have that luxury.

Imagine how many more people could have the choice if state regulations didn't make private health insurance so unaffordable.

Anyway, the trade-offs between regulation and affordability are too complex to describe here. Suffice to say that the issue isn't so black-n-white.
