Well you have a Apple after all, and Apple made some money off you, which it probably wouldn't have made if it tried to compete in the netbook area. I think Apple is looking towards the future here with the Macbook Air model. Lowered the prices in the last product cycle and is probably looking to continue until it replaces the Macbook model. Also as processors become more energy efficient the need for humongous batteries will decrease and batteries will become more reliable. Might I ask how long it took for you to learn how to load the OS and then load it? Are the OS upgrades easy?
