I don't know of any problems, other than a shortage of CNG refueling stations.

That's a big problem.

Also lower fuel density, so you get bigger tanks but still a lower range, and refilling would likely be slightly slower and less convenient (although better than electric cars). Also at least for now the cars would cost more and typically they would get less power.
