Should millionaires get hundreds of dollars when the poorest get only dollars?

Yes. Everyone should receive back, proportionally, that which was forcibly taken from them, literally at gunpoint, by the federal government.

The rich will not notice hundreds of dollars, but the poor will appreciate the money.

I agree with most of your posts, HPilot, but I respectfully disagree with you on this point. You are advocating a redistribution of wealth plan. Your intentions are well-placed and are born out of a consideration for human needs and a compassion for others, but when we begin talking about punishing those who put forth the most effort, perform the best, and contribute the most, I will always be opposed to the idea of punishing them on behalf of the poor.

In my opinion, Bill Gates should receive his fair share of social security, based on his contributions, as should a minimum wage burger flipper.
