Watching the whole speech was very telling as to how Rs think. Anything to do with health care, innovation, hi speed trains or infrastructure improvement the R line dipped. Only if it had to do with the deficits did the R line join the lines for the Indies and Dems.

The R's will make us 3rd world... take it too the bank (while you can).

It was disgusting to see Boehner's reaction during the address and with it the reaction of the Republican party when Obama mentioned anything that had to do with improving the country and with it the American community. He had no applause and instead provided cold stares. But when it came to the welfare of individuals such as those with money or a collection of rich people such as oil companies etc., they were up cheering on their feet. It was evident that they are. for chasing the age old ideas of keeping the masses illiterate, uneducated and exploited with no rudimentary benefits such as healthcare etc. Yes indeed it is convenient for them to advocate for the "small businesses" since they serve as a buffer between the working class and the super rich which forms the core that the Republicans ultimately wants to preserve.

Unfortunately, the ideas of "blatant and shameless" capitalism is so well ingrained into the minds of the Americans during their days in "public school", that they are missing out on the point that the Govt. stepping in to save the auto and banking industry has resulted in a profit for the taxpayers.. Even though that was not their intent to step in to begin with. So what nonsense is this for some Americans to say that Govt. should keep out.

Seems to me that Obama is taking the initiative away from the Republicans and making them more clueless than they were on the day of the Nov. election.
