Mad, but do these nice situations exist anymore? By 'nice' I mean plugging the numbers into some model that comes up with a fair value for the stock based on decades of data. Those plays have to be gone, for the most part. With all the technology on Wall Street. In the 60s when Buffett was operating, they were still around, but not now.

The nice thing about investing is that you don't necessarily lose 100% when you're wrong, unlike gambling. The only way to make money in this game is to load up on the few situations that you find compelling. You have to take the risk. The magic of compounding isn't going to work for marginal situations. You'll become a billionaire in 10,000 years. I don't have 10,000 years.
