I never bought into some of the garbage we were fed in school growing up although I did believe the US was the knight on a white horse. Where I got snookered was with Rs. I thought they were the smart, deep ones. How else to explain their distain for everyone else? Little did I know they played with smoke and mirrors and worked long and hard on intimidation. That part of my education didn't come until Bush became president. That taxpayers made money while at the same time rescuing some of our basic industries is something that we need to focus on strongly. Instead I see silence on this issue. Makes me feel that folks are ashamed to proclaim that the Govt. "is the answer" and not "part of the problem". Ask an employee of Citibank, BofA, GM, AIG and they will concur I am sure. After all, the infant years of Communist Chine and independent India saw a massive infusion of Govt. money. That paid off. And Obama is doing the same.
