Nation-state broke. Plutocracy, not. Have technology.
Managerial capacity and and the whole out there to profit from. Companies have 1 trillion capital hoarding.

It is the United States that is broken.

Sure we are ... scratch the pop culture surface we import and we are quite different culturally... but our loonie was sub .63 USD in 2002... there is a reason for that.. culture or not.. it was profligate overspending.. our government didn't cut back as much as we had our belts tightened for us.. That only works so many times.. our government is still huge, bloated and wasteful... we can kick a can also :O)

There is a negative trend... at 54.. it is more concern for my kids' futures I think about... hence the myriad tools they are taking up...
