Speaking of food stamps: Do you all know that these cards show up along side "debit/credit" as "EBT" at checkout, and ask if the recipient wants cash back? This morning on KSFO, the subject was being discussed. There were callers who work in grocery stores who said that this gigantic handout is being used to buy junk food and then cash used to buy booze and cigarettes (and probably dope). They also said that a family of four can get over $600 a month sent to them via these cards. .
