The larger fuel cells will sell for a variety of reasons unrelated to (but still sensitive to) cost. Data centers, for example, that require dual grid feeds for reliability, or simply because they need another so many megawatts but cannot obtain it because the power company will not move quickly enough. Sometimes the utility will speck in a new substation and feed that's two to three years out. In such cases, organizations will pay handsomely for relief today rather than wait. ------
