But the recession is over. Obama said so. >> Obama felt he had very little choice considering the fragile nature of the economic recovery, after the deep recession W left him...even then I will remind you that Obama did not want to continue bush's tax cuts as bush had enacted them...he wanted to repeal the part that grants cuts to high earners...deal making with a recalcitrant GOP prevented that...I will tell you that I don't think these tax cuts will have any effect on the economy just as they did not for bush, other than to deepen our debt...and on the two unfortunate war messes he has had to deal with...hell man you can answer your own question...iraq is closing and in afghanistan Obama is not following bush's war "strategy"...again he is having to clean up another ugly mess bush has left him. So, how, exactly, did Bush "cause" the economic crisis? (He repeatedly warned of the oncoming crisis asking the Democrats to act and they failed to do so. I'm not sure what more he could have done.) As a leftwing nutjob, your posts are totally partisan with no presentation of underlying rationale, whatsoever. You say Bush caused it then by god prove it or STFU. Obama continued the Bush tax cuts. Why? Because they do work, they DID work, and there is no way of knowing how many millions of jobs were saved by them during the Bush years. No telling. You get that, right? We're counting jobs saved, so lets count them for ALL presidents. We have a total nitwit running the show now, and finally he has caved and said, "Okay, we don't know what we're doing, so we're going to return to the Bush policy". That doesn't sound like someone who believes Bush had it wrong.
