I love it when people post "snow jobs" in the belief that lots of snow means things are getting colder, or at least not warmer. Your average meteorologist, or at least a patient one, will explain that you cannot have snow unless there's moisture in the air, and such moisture is carried only by relatively warm air. When the warm meets the cold, you get snow. Lot's of snow in the northeast US in close proximity to the hot air of Washington, DC, but not much in Antarctica. It figures. wg
