Stephen: If the market decides to Rally tommorow, and it just might do that as ASIA appears, as of this time, to be recovering. I see a one day Jump up in price for AAPL IF the Markets do RALLY Strong.
I bit longer term, I see AAPL cont. down.

If the Markets are weak tommorow, expect AAPL to go down deeper in its whole.

<<If Apple, drops to $13 I think I'll buy.>>

Ain't gonna happen. Everybody knows that the big announcements are coming (CEO, Oracle partnership, etc.) and that Apple has a lot more leadership than they had in July. And that the bleeding has stopped. When we had the big panic a few weeks ago, how low did Apple go? Does Apple's business look better or worse since then? Hint: G3 systems with no clone competition.

<<Their Newton and Emate is horribly expensive. I don't know where they are trying to go with these products.>>

The Newton _is_ expensive and is more like a laptop substitute for certain users. Or used for specialized functions, like in hospitals, stockrooms, etc. The eMate is not expensive and is aimed mainly at schoolchildren. BTW, the Newton division is supposedly coming out with a Palm Pilot type system as well, which should cost $300 or so.

<<Their new Powerbooks looks promising but again very expensive.>>

Let me get this straight. In theory, you want the fastest laptop on the planet but you won't even pay as much as it costs for the fastest Wintel laptop, which has half the performance?

Just giving you something to think about,
Marc
