Dear Nick: I was shocked to find that my attorney has the unfortunate bug for hi tech stocks also. It looks like the techs are in another big slide. From prior experience, these slides have produced excellent buying opportunities. However, "the past does not predict the future".

Good luck!

Nick, last year when I sold all my shares to buy LEAPs, I was almost sure that the price of 23 was near the bottom---which was proven exactly right...Now at 29 we don't know if we are already at the bottom or just a little above. If you believe that the stock will go up and break the 53 (105 pre-split) where you bought your shares before the LEAPs expire, then go ahead---sell your shares and buy LEAPs (that is if you don't have cash left to add to your position). Just proceed carefully, the stock might go down some more, so maybe just do a little at a time; be aware of the fact that LEAPs, just like any other Options, make your holdings depreciate more than if you have the stocks...Your situation now is like what I have last year---unlucky enough to have bought near the top the previous year. What I did was shift all my shares to LEAPs which was proven to be an excellent decision because I was lucky enough to have done the shift near the bottom...Use your Instincts; when in doubt about the bottom just try some and wait...In any case, do something to take advantage of the Dip!...
