A $100. per copy----so now the Democrats want to make money on what should already be public information.

Interesting that these are Democrat Representatives calling for charging $100.00.

A money making scheme for sure.

As an American Citizen and Voter I don't care to have a copy of his original documents. I care about whether or not Mr. Obama had or has the right to run for POTUS and to serve as the President.

Until that certificate and other requested legal papers are posted through the proper channels, Mr. Obama serving as POTUS of the USA remains in doubt.

How can the American Citizens who vote trust a man who refuses to produce his credentials for all to see? The answer is obvious.

She says the fee would help offset the extra work by state employees who handle frequent phone calls and e-mails from people who believe Obama wasn't born in Hawaii.

ah yes, the overworked state employee.. if their job isn't to do this, just what the heck is it? they're supposed to give out certain information. but by all means, pass the law, just drop the $100 requirement, or get another job.

Sounds like "hear say" evidence to me. Why should a public official's public records be sealed? Is this the twilight zone?
Seems to me if you wnat a life in public service the least you should be willing to do is make all your public records public otherwise stay out of public service. Stay out of public service and keep all your public records private.
