Fiberman who was nearly wiped out in a stock-market crash in S3 calls
The Leo Investment Company the next day and asks politely , "May I speak to
Mr.Spenser, my broker, please?"

The operator replied, "I'm sorry. Mr Spenser is deceased. Can anyone else
help you?" Fiberman hangs up. Ten minutes later he calls again and asks for
Mr. Spenser, his broker. The operator says, "You just called a few minutes
ago, didn't you? Mr. Spenser has died. I'm not making this up."

Fiberman again hangs up. Fifteen minutes later he calls a third time and
asks for Mr. Spenser. The operator is rather angry now: "I've told you
twice already, the guy's dead!" she shouts. "He is not here! Why do you
keep asking for him when I say he's dead?"
Fiberman replies, "I know, I just like hearing it."
