Hi rrman,

I agree with your points with one exception. I think that Slick Willie and Sadam are two of a kind. No war....just saber ratteling. SW...does not care about anything that the polls don't tell him to. SH ... would like to be a fighter if he could just stop having to hide in bunkers and send children out as bait everytime he talks <grin>.

Steve

rrman, re and virtually everyone capable of investing in the market is already in..

Naww...don't you remember reading all those fund managers who only used up very modest amounts of large cash hoards on Mon & Tues (Oct 27-28)? I read about them. Further, virtually everyone after the 554 pt plunge was very sure we would retest the lows.....so they held off buying. That's why volume was so light in the days following the big upsurge. Also, the recent gyrations are attracting NEW people to the market. My sister just put in buy orders for the open tomorrow..her very first stock buys...I've counseled her to wait until the market falls back..we may indeed retest 7100, but she doesn't want to let some of these tech bargains get away..QNTM at 25-3/4..GTW at 25-1/4...CPQ at 58..INTC at mid 70's..Check out GTW's PSR...

I covered my DJX puts near the close, and went long QNTM. I like to bend whichever way the wind is blowing (sorta like the Police Captain in Casablanca -G-), and in this market, with huge gap-ups and gap-downs common, sometimes you have to go with your instincts..Looks like a gap up tomorrow.
