"It was additional evidence that the new House GOP majority isn't exactly focused on the economy and job creation, and it seemed like another gesture to the party's far-right base"

Maddow, I think was talking about this. There is a bill to ban gay marriage in DC. Boehner is trying to get school vouchers for DC.
There is no jobs plan. Cut taxes, cut spending (cut demand) cut regulations. There is no budget plan. Ryan and Paul have bad jokes. State and local employees getting canned now that stim money is gone? So what; we need to dereg banks.

U know I get so disgusted with this Abortion issue that
I almost get as malleable as Obama and say what the hell.
Although I don't like killing anything a Woman's RIGHT TO CHOOSE is what this is all about.

AND the Supreme Court for once saw the unfairness to a
woman's rights and enacted Roe Vs. Wade.

Ever since then it's been the goal of the Grand Old Party
to undo that decision.

AND if we let this go they will have another huge issue.
There is always an issue with them. They are never pleased.

And by the way the article you posted on Nassau County.
I lived there 21 years. Basically it is a very wealthy
county. It houses Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington,
Roslyn and beautiful communities. I cannot believe that
two of these communities voted in tea partyers...
They are predominantly Jewish.

One never knows.
