Thanks John.

I guess that IS good news. The question now being, is it wise
for these other DD manufacturers to licence GMR from IBM in order
to achieve these higher densities or will they go with KM ? I'm
certainly no authority but it just seems cheaper to go with a
KM platter only because of the many components of the head and
the circuitry needed to drive it. We know the DD vendors are
under tremendous pressure to cut costs.
