The shorts are going to get their balls squeezed on thursday.
Hong Kong is up over 2 % and Japan is up after being way down.
Maybe.. just maybe we have leveled off..

I agree that technical indicators and history say we are near the bottom..maybe 55. Of course,if something happens which negatively impacts fundamentals e.g. DELL has disappointing earnings or negative forcast, a little lower(but not 42!!).

I have started to accelerate CPQ share accumulation without margin. Since I don't believe CPQ will achieve new highs for some time, I am going to sell out-of money covered calls during mini-rallies. I sold NOV65's at 4 last week. Anybody else doing this?

Good point there. BTW, DELL release its earning on Nov. 24, I called the company and they have a phone message.
