Freeus: I was my own worst enemy, not being myself. Now I'm real.

I managed to upset almost everyone on this thread, didn't really know why. Well, after thought and discussion with others, they were wondering what got into me. Everyone, in face to face life, knows me as being funny, helpful to others, caring, sort of boy scout type with an eye to adventure. Sooooo what happened. The written word is taken literaly, only very good writers can express humor through literature.
I failed at it terrably.

To make matters worse, I buy Nextel, think it's a great company, and then go public with observed weaknessess in thier organization. The truth of the matter, is that, I was just looking for people to disagree with me, in doing so, it would add support for my decision to buy, make me feel OK with investing the family savings in the Nextel dream. All this managed to do was cause you guys to think, that Al is stupid. He buys stock, then becomes the company's worse critic. From now on, no bull from me, it's coming from the heart. If I tell you what I did, it's not to brag, it's because if I can help anyone do better, it makes me feel better.

It's comeing from the heart Al

Free-Us, you wrote "Oh well, shed a tear for me, and I'll see if I can do some quick day trading to make up some of the loss.
I agree though, working full time is the pits, in this market one has to sit in front of the computer and make moves fast
."

Free-Us, I agree totally. I'm doing what you mentioned in the first sentence, and have been bit by my inability (or sudden hopefulness) to make moves fast. This market is both a tired bull & a grim reaper, you're favorite all-in-one monster!

Ed - that duck isn't swimming anymore. He's about to drown! Help, help!

NXTL at 23? What's the world coming to? Until they release earnings, I suspect this will continue to drop.

WonderBread - what have you to say about the current price? Still a great buying opportunity? Heck, I thought we said that at 27 1/2 !

Good luck to all & I'll throw in a couple fortune cookies, too
