Follow these steps in order:

1. First go to ESET.com buy and download NOD32 Antivirus. 4

2. To uninstall Norton, go to Add/Remove Programs, select the Norton product you want to remove.

3. Then go here:
symantec.com
Download the first one (Norton Removal tool for Windows Vista/XP/2000) (Will work with Windows 7 as well)

4. Download and run that program and it will do a full clean up of any leftovers of Norton off your computer that the add/remove programs misses.

5. Install ESET NOD32 and then enter you license to activate it.

6. Reboot and you are in business, with a faster running machine.
