>>One synapses I read says the movie explains away the world was created in 6 days problem. In a movie house coming to you Feb 1st.<<

Funny. I was thinking about that very thing last night, after a conversation with my cousin, who still believes he'll be able to lure me back "into the fold," as they say.

He once told me that I shouldn't be so quick to reject religion, because it was possible that I simply hadn't thought about different ways to look at things. "Like, in Genesis, where it says God created the world in six days? What if it wasn't really six days, but six years, or something like that?"

Naturally, this idea wasn't something I hadn't managed to think of myself. But last night I was thinking about that conversation, and I thought, why would it matter whether it was six days, six millennia, or six seconds? We're talking about a guy who can create universes, here. You'd think he could do it as quickly or slowly as he wanted to.

So I don't even get what six days problem they're talking about. I don't have a problem with it. We'd have to take a couple of steps back to reach the place where they lose me.

Oops. Didn't mean to get into discussing religion again.

You can't do it from faith based mode. But that's the beauty- let us question in science class- let us question EVERYTHING- that'll fix 'em
