3 months from now everyone will kick themselves for not buying right now. I will be laughing at those who sold at 25 1/2 and 25 1/4 per share.

I bought all my shares at 19 4 months ago and sold half my position at 36. I just jumped back in at 28 1/2.

This sell off has nothing to do with these stocks. It is a market problem. There is panic selling over concerns with Asia, Middle East, and inflation. Nothing has changed with Quantum. It is funny that a few weeks ago everyone was talking about new high into the 50's and suddenly I see people talking about book values and stock getting near 1 year lows aroung 9 per share.

These are people that are swayed by the wind going in whatever direction the wind blows. I laugh at those that are shorting Qunatum right now.

You guys will see a huge recovery this week or early next week. When we have any solid bounce the shorts will be covering their butts before they get caught with their pants down. Then everyone will jump in while they can get stock cheap.

I am thankfull for being able to buy more shares at these low prices.
If Quantum goes to 10 per share I will buy more. When it goes to $.01 the I will buy the company with TECH.

What do you think TECH?

Most of us never set through a bear market and all this panic is expected. There is too much money coming in from 401k and IRA for an extended bear market even if we are in one. Most people know not to touch it for 40 years and that is how you become rich. I am glad the market is going down because it enables me to buy more stocks in my 401k cheaper. This way I will make more money in the long run.

Sit tight guys.

Asia acting reasonably. HK up over 2% and Nikkei looking OK. I'm thinking of placing my first options trade since I think QNTM will definately be up in a few months.

I'm thinking of buying one of the following calls:
Feb 30 at 2 1/4 or
May 30 at 3 1/2.

Any comments from options veterans? I think it would just let me leverage off this sell-off as much as possible.

it? >>

I think the best news was CPQ<DELL<INTC and other tech stocks
showed solid strength for the fiist time in about 2 weeks..
Now we need the asian markets to cooperate for several days.
QNTM is a STEAL at these levels.. I currently own 2000 shares
at 32.50 Bought em the day WDC puked..
This whole DD situation is way overdone.

Currently at 60 % stock 10% mutual funds(stock) 30% cash
