Just trash the dollar to the grave, push gas to $50 per gallon, and
Americans won't drive. A supply/demand solution for soaring oil prices -g-
Who cares if the dollar is trash anyhow. Oil measured in gold is stable,
so apparently there is no "peak oil". Soviet Union had a huge BOOM in
the 70-s. America is just another country, living off foreign cheap labor
for quite some time. Their standard of living will improve as ours fall.
I think we'll see a few difficult years ahead, as the global standard of living
adjusts - higher in countries like China, lower in G7.

I don't think higher dollar will stop inflation, although it is true that USD
pegged countries will automatically print money if the dollar keeps falling.
Once they stop and de-peg, the dollar will fall faster. In the end the only
one trashing the dollar is Ben.

I view derivatives as instruments of a system of financial control
which rests on the dollar status of reserve currency. Now it's actually
2 currencies, the dollar and Zero.
