We will watch this play out, So far the markets support your optimistic view. I suspect the cards will be played slowly. One sign to watch will be women wearing head scarfs and oppression of the Coptics. As for energy and the canal - hey - they need the money just like Iran. First and foremost they will have to feed the people which will be more difficult as their economy declines. Let's hope a resolution is achieved quickly. I have former colleagues there who are good friends and good workers and can compete on the world stage if given a chance.
