Thank God, government is moving on the bedbug problem. How would we ever cope without our overlords guidance?

WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal government is looking for ways to crack down on bedbugs.
The pesky insects have infiltrated New York City and turned up everywhere from swanky hotels to homeless shelters around the country. Now they are the subject of a two-day national bedbug summit in Washington that kicks off Tuesday.
The million-dollar question is what the federal government can do about them.

While remedies to control the critters have improved since the last national summit two years ago, the “Federal Bed Bug Working Group,” as it is called, still faces an uphill battle. The appleseed-size insects, which live in the folds and crevices of sheets and mattresses, are difficult to kill.
Research has shown that bedbugs are developing a resistance to pesticides.

EPA to protect Americans from dreaded milk spills. Why not considering everything else they do? They tell us what kind of light bulbs we can use, how much ethanol has to be in our gas tanks ...... And they want a hell of a lot more power.

Preventing the next dairy farm oil slick.

President Obama says he wants to purge regulations that are "just plain dumb," like his humorous State of the Union bit about salmon. So perhaps he should review a new rule that is supposed to prevent oil spills akin to the Gulf Coast disaster—at the nation's dairy farms.
Two weeks ago, the Environmental Protection Agency finalized a rule that subjects dairy producers to the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure program, .....
