ML...I hear what you are saying. But IMO, both ATC and the major carriers are setup to operate under favorable conditions. Throw in some thunderstorms, snow, ice, etc. and everything begins to slow down. Lose the computers and believe me everything shuts down. Try calling CFCF in Wash,D.C. and see what they say. A NON-RADAR environment flying into LAX, DFW, LGA, ORD, MIA, etc. I/ll pass.
