Don't forget, options don't have to expire to be exercised. They can be excerised at any time up until expiration date. If someone is holding Intel puts which are in the money, they could exercise them now, or of course sell them.

Intel Declares Regular Cash Dividend

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 1997--Intel Corporation's Board of Directors has declared a $0.03 per share quarterly dividend on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on March 1, 1998 to stockholders of record on Feb. 1, 1998.
