Hi folks! Maybe I'll take a break and go to Iraq and deal with Saddam personally. So we can go on and take this market higher where it belongs. OK? Anyone dare to be the bullest of bulls to go instead of me?

Richard, Yesterday I was listening Lou Dobbs and a maney manager from
silicon valley commented that if those with cash right now patiently
wait for this carnage to end, you can have your dream portfolio by
bying the best companies that have been been beating down because of
heard mentality and not on fundmentals. If this down market would continue while you are on your trip, you might come home to big surprise and buy into these companies. Hell, one might even put money on the DOW stocks and do well by O'Higgins's methods.

I appreciate all your contributions, as well as those of AT, marc, Rudy and others on the thread. I have been directly on the market only
since late March and happily benefitted from the summer tech run-up
(when my portfolio gained 5% for three days in a row), I should have known that that could not have lasted. In any case I happy about the gains so that I can bear the losses now. We have now have experienced a mini-bear run, so hopefully we are now wiser

Regards, Seppo
