Orion is very dependent upon government subsidies. They could not be where they are without them and I would not have purchased their lights had it not been for the subsidies. You can get comparable products at Lowes. You cannot get their light tubes at this moment, but they will be available by a competitor in the near future. The technology that they add by having light sensors add and turn off banks of lights is easily duplicated, but is an excellent feature when they are marketing their products. The sales force is extremely well trained, but as I mentioned, they are not a profitable company. They have made many right moves but are huge spenders, (see their recent jet purchase) at some point they must become profitable. They are covering every angle except being more fiscally prudent.

I know this company very well and am not an investor because of my concerns. I agree fully with you regarding they not being what Obama implied. Obama does not know who they are...he did not even pronounce the name of the city correctly.

This was simply a stage for Obama which cost us $$$$$$$$. He should have stayed home.
