Hi al, I'm not sure this consitutes a public area to release info. If you see my previous post, I'm not sure what "requires" a "public" release of information, or, for that matter, what constitutes a "public" release. I'm sure there are rules somewhere, I saw Michael K. was vehemently arguing it was insider info two nights ago, but left it alone last night. While I understand things that materially affect a stock price should probably be kept quiet, what else requires it I have no idea. Companies release info to callers all the time, sales were good, negotiations on a contract are going well, etc. As far a the PR newswire goes, I think you pays your money and spout what you want. I've seen companies release info to callers that appeared on the newswire, half the time it's because their getting so many calls on the subject. If Michael was upset about the phone info two nights ago, I wonder why he didn't care about folks getting info about the law suits filed by Mork before they were announced. Does that qualify?
