Like everybody else -- I am concerned about what is happening in the ME - and the history of political upheaval however well intentioned is always sobering. Having said that -- it is at least possible that we should be saying "its about time" and asking why we are on the side of guys like Mubarak in the first place. He is yet one more example of the bargain with the devil we made time and again in search of stability even if it meant the brutal repression of ordinary people and their ability to define their own lives as they see fit. I fear the change, but I also cross my fingers and hope it is a change for the better.
