Dow looks like closing about 7475 like I guessed. BORL was inexplicably sold down early in the day no doubt by a big player. This stock is really too strong now to stay oversold for long. Go Borl.

As for the rest of the year for the Dow who knows. The big danger is if the Japanese banks are ever brought to account. Commentators keep using words like "off balance sheet" and "non transperent transactions" to describe the Japanese banks.

I think that funds managers will ride out the year. they should be carrying good profits from the first half and really just need to rule their books off now to look good on paper.

I would not be surprised if they go to cash for 6 weeks and come back in January.
