You're reasoning like Marie Antoinette pre- French Revolution. The authoritarian Nation-State has many costs that it carries. Those costs are paid by the populaces. The state is run for the benefit of the oligarchy. Once the populaces ask for more they need the nation-state to be run for the benefit of the majority.

Black Swann....here is a likely scenario for China.... Revolution starts as in Egypt (in a major city) then gravitate to the rural areas and picked up by the billions of unwashed.... at this point the Chinese Military will step in and kill off a few million rural souls or as necessary(whats a few million souls in China, and for the good of the others)meanwhile arresting a few million urban souls (never to be heard from again) while depriving the general populace of all TV, Internet, and cell phone and all in the name of saving all from the evil Western Influences... All will then settle back to PRC control of MSM... at this point the Western world will be using Radio Free America and other Media outlets to further agitate the Chinese situation.... China will eventually revert to a North Korean style of life until their next Revolution which will be the big one... That would likely be 2020 or so.... Bottom line is The Pie isn't big enough for all to share.... Billions must die.... Chas
