Rally's and Checkers Announce Agreement to Enter into a Management Services Contract LOUISVILLE, Ken., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- RALLY'S HAMBURGERS, INC. (Nasdaq: RLLY - news) and CHECKERS DRIVE-IN RESTAURANTS, INC. (Nasdaq: CHKR - news) have reached an agreement to enter into a management services contract in which Checkers Drive-In Restaurants will provide accounting, technology and other services to Rally's Hamburgers, Inc. Rally's and Checkers expect that the agreement will result in reduced corporate costs as a result of the efficiencies gained by performing these functions out of Checkers' Clearwater, Florida offices. Rally's recently announced the signing of an agreement to acquire approximately 19.0 million shares of Checkers from CKE Restaurants, Inc. and other parties in exchange for securities of Rally's. The completion of the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of the year, will give Rally's an approximate 27% ownership in Checkers. Jay Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer of Rally's and Checkers commented, ''We are excited to be able to take advantage of opportunities arising out of the relationships between the two companies. We will continue to keep key restaurant operations, franchise support, purchasing and other corporate positions at Rally's headquarters, in Louisville, Kentucky. Rally's Hamburgers, Inc., along with its franchisees, operates approximately 473 double drive-thru hamburger restaurants, primarily in the Midwestern United States. Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., along with its franchisees, operates approximately 480 double drive-thru hamburger restaurants primarily located in the Southeastern United States. Doug---I in no way want to violate any rules that you have set down for your thread, however I am looking for someone who is proficient at the art of charting to evaluate a formation that has me intrigued. The stock is SEC. I have not done any in depth analysis of the stock, although what I have done shows some upward promise. The chart shows the stock, in my view, coming off a cup formation to $18 then gapping up to a long, flat, narrow base for several weeks. Any analysis, however brief, would be appreciated. Art
