Yes, I thought it would sound optimist, but the message was: Mankind is in a constant move to superior life as a gregarious beings. Each step has always been an improvement on the preceding one. TJ things along this lines too. He things we are going towards more civilization. MQ thinks civilization ended with the demise of VVV. I think our civilization, the only brand new civilization created in the tropics, right out of a jungle with a few natives in the polished stone age, Mediterranean whites and negroes, is an improvement too. Haim thinks that the only civilized place down there is Israel. The rest are too uneducated to be ready for civilized government. It is good to see the Moslem house shaken a bit. Because we had already given up on them.
