Hi Dwight,

Re: DD's

Be careful, if the DD's really are on the verge of an all out price war then everyone will get sucked under DLT or no DLT. I agree QNTM looks like the most solid DD and might hold up best, but if the sector continues to tank QNTM will continue to suffer. I expect more warnings from SEG (pure guess) which will not help things. The problem with owning any DD is that any time one of them announces bad news, they all dive hard and I expect many more warnings out of this sector in coming months.

<You going to buy some COMS here?>

Although I am very very tempted, I'll probably wait until after earnings are released to get a better feel for what the hell is going on at COMS. I recently saw two very different scenarios and I can't decide which one COMS will come closest to. First, in the case of APM the stock kept dropping sharply leading up to earnings. When results were announced, they were singificantly below estimates and the outlook was not painted as very positive. In this case the sell-off leading to earnings was a warning. Howerver, CREAF dropped from 26 to 19 leading up to earnings. When reults were annnounced, they were spectacular and a very positive outlook for the future was provided. In this case the sell-off was panic/rumor/whatever driven and NOT a warning. So, what I am trying to figure out before adding to COMS is, is there anything seriously wrong with business (i.e., is this a warning) or is this just a huge over reaction.

Any thoughts,

FF
