Peter, as in all Options, you Roll Over a LEAP to another LEAP by selling one and with the proceeds buying another. For example you have a Jan '99 60 but you think the stock won't reach that price before the option expire---then sell the option and then with the proceeds of the sale buy the Jan '00 50 or whatever expiration price you think is appropriate.
