Bonnie:
You mean there may be corruption here in the US of A? I am SHOCKED, SHOCKED!
Where do I get some info on the non-index related bloat? Does seem like a safer play if our cynical assumptions are at least partly correct.

Bonnie, You have hit the nail right smack on the middle of the
head. All over the world tonight, stock indexes are more or less
flat. Unless you look at the broader indexes. All the broader
indexes are lousy. In other words, flight to safe big capitalization
stocks is going on (or if you wish to get a little paranoid this late
at night, the plunge protection teams are generating the maximum
amount of good vibes per $ by supporting the more narrow, well
publicized indexes, and letting the broader market fend for itself. )

In any case, what we are seeing is a rotation back into the Dow,
at the expense of the SPX, and into the SPX and Dow at the
expense of the small cap Nasdaq. I wish Rarebird were still
posting.

I sold my KO (Cocacola) and PFE (Pfizer) puts this morning as
the result of a conversation we had on the Kahuna thread last
night. As long as you stick to the small cap puff stocks, I think
puts are going to make money.

<< The feds will never admit to manipulating the market>> BULL,IMHO, Maria B. manipulates the market. "Strong opening this morning, money pouring into Tech stocks as we suspected." Haysue Christi,I think I put on my hip boots.
