The authors cannot fathom a future where Europe reverts to museum, and america specializes in food. But we must question, "why not". Is the French fellow pretending to working 20 hours a day for 150 days a year that much more special than the engineer toiling in Shenzhen, and Is that joe6pack working for ford that much more capable than the wang3cups working for geely? We shall find out, and that is the fun, finding out.
