John, I have a hard time characterizing this as a bear market just yet. If this market continues to go down for another month I guess I'd have to agree. But if it starts going up it's only a correction. We only know after the fact! The climate for business domestically is good and interest rates are down and projected to continue declining. The question that raises uncertainty is the impact of SE Asian markets on the world economy. I forget who, but someone once quipped that the stock market has predicted three out of the last two recessions.

I'm starting to get interested in the dd's again -- particularly SEG and WDC; JBIL is beginning to look intriguing also.
