Just saw the Italian film, "I am Love", off of one of a Top 20 list that Chris posted here. It starts off somewhat tedious, but I found it quite good once it gets going.

Last night we watched The Social Network. I really enjoyed it. I have to admit I was amazed at how they found twins to play the rich athletic Harvard kids - they were perfect for the role. . . until I found out later that both roles were played by one person. Doh! I really wasn't looking for any movie hocus pocus to pull that off, so if I re-watch it I'll have to pay more attention.

Last night I watched and enjoyed a movie that you mentioned, "As it is in Heaven". It had shades of one of my favorite TV series, Northern Exposure - small town surrounded by beautiful wilderness and populated with a bunch of characters.

I liked how each character's baggage and soft underbelly was exposed as the movie went along. It reminded me of this quote which I liked so much I framed it and put it up in our waiting room.
