Welcome Back! Many posters were asking for your return. I cling too SPX 900 as the final test. IMO if we take it out decisively then we're in a major bear. ATG

I believe, and I may be wrong, but I think I'm right, that an "official" bear market is indicated only when BOTH the Dow and the Transportation Index are in a downtrend, not just the Dow. The Transportation Index would have to dip below about 2850. Anyway, I hope you're right about 10,000 by early next year.
