Always amazing that at time like these, some dirtwater brokerage thinks they have the visibility out more than two years to change estimates by a penny.

I get a kick out of his too. Two months ago these guys were predicting .36 for Q3 and .41 for Q4. Now they cut their estimates in half, and yet they still are trying to predict the business out two years when they cant even get it for the next quarter. They look pretty stupid.

Now the managment(or lack thereof) at ASND has something to do with this which is why this stock is getting punished so severely. These guys (Ejabat and Schnieder)tell the investment community - through August - that they are "comfortable with the numbers, although it will be a back end loaded quarter". They miss by .16 cents(.36 - .20). So I guess that this means that we should see .56 cents this quarter, right(.40 cents est 4Q97 + .16 cent shortfall in 3Q97)????? They wouldn't be so stupid as to mislead the investment community and piss everyone off would they??? Naw, of course not. That would be terrible business sense. Right?

Good Luck

Just another small investor who has lost on ASND

Still hanging in? Was concerned not seeing any posts from you for a while. We seem to be reaching the end of the runway, and so far the brakes aren't holding. True but not with COMS:-( Always amazing that at time like these, some dirtwater brokerage thinks they have the visibility out more than two years to change estimates by a penny. They were off by more that ten cents just last quarter. I keep telling myself that money isn't everything. Maybe I should get a life, so I have something to fall back on. I am not sure what you meant by this. Glenn
