Aside from time and tides and electrons and protons and such, O'Reilly shows a keen understanding of how the 7000 year old physical world around him works. He once took a science class taught by Kermit the Frog, while he was the night desk clerk at the local Holiday Inn. He's got it down cold.

>> I don't like O'Reilly but I thought as wingers go he was reasonably intelligent.

This wasn't an assault on O'Reilly's intelligence. It was simply attacking him out of context for his remarks that had a pretty clear meaning if taken IN-context. His point was clear -- that the existence of the physical world is evidence of the existence of God.

Whether O'Reilly's position is correct, I don't know. But it is certainly a reasonable argument.

I think the real intellectual challenge is to those who don't comprehend that the piece was cut to shreds to make O'Reilly look foolish. That's what these clowns do.

It is unfortunate that so many of you seem to take comedy shows a little too seriously.
