I read the O's reportedly were offering Vlad $2 million. The same number Manny Rameriz signed for....IMO John Madden will have his hands full with Manny. The market for aging sluggers is thin. The "knock" on Vlad was a .270 average late in the season. I think he had some hamstring issues in the 2nd half. Vlad was running the bases all season with reckless abandon. I think he has a couple productive years left at DH. I see Jim Edmonds signed a minor league deal with the Cards.
