We get lots of ice here. Walking, find and wake up with body heat melting ice. No memory of falling. I've been knocked out more than most boxers.

Owieee!

Falling is something we all do once in awhile. I'll be going down the steps in the garage and find a foot dangling over the next step with only a sliver of a heel catching me, and think "recover" or you're going to have a very sore tail bone. So far, I've had the reflexes to stop my forward momentum, but I just know I'm going to go down those steps some day. Thankfully, there are only 5 of them, so I'll probably survive OK when I do.

I just hope I don't break a wrist.

We don't have enough ice around here to be worrying about that, but I think falling is a human condition and can't be avoided throughout one's lifetime.

I was driving home from the mts the other day and came around a blind corner on our route. There in the middle of the road was a really nice looking yellow lab just a waggin' his tail and doing that quiver labs do. His goofy owner was walking along side the ditch and had this stupid grin on his face like he didn't have a care (or a thought) in the world. Fortunately for the quivering mass of yellow dog I was only going 35 and I managed to come to a complete halt with only inches to spare. The goofy owner grabbed the dog's collar and got him off the road.

Ice..........ice baby! ;)
