LOL!! You are such a delightful GOOFBALL! What an unending source of amusement! You (and some of your overnight bedroom girlies) have spent months and years bawling how I have “scoffed” at your beliefs in talking donkeys, healthy boys living 3 days in the stomach of a great fish--and an earth under 7000 years old!! You have commiserated with one another that “big bad Solon” was being mean and uncaring towards you! But what was the truth? The truth was...I had posted on a Philosophy thread that I started (Should God Be Replaced) and a science thread that I didn’t start (Evolution). In both those instances I certainly felt free to scoff at outsiders who came to the thread speaking in an infantile tongue about their beliefs in talking donkeys, Noah’s ark--and all the other tribal tales of folklore and myth! I was certainly on the right side of the fence! And I was (and I am) merely speaking with reason and sense on threads dedicated to reason and sense! But freaks and Fundies WILL show up! They always do! I understand that a 7 year old kid might be disappointed to hear that unicorns don’t exist and that the earth is NOT 7000 years old--and that Adam and Eve and the entire story of that mythology (and thousands of others) are just what any rational adult knows them to be. But I don’t think anybody on SI is 7 years old --and if they are they are not owning up to it)--so they have no moral high road to take for being gently shunted aside! So for months and years you have bawled and spewed: Solon is an atheist! Solon is mean to us! Solon quotes the bible to us and that is not a good feeling! We call that HATE LITERATURE! (remember, our emotional/mental age is about SEVEN!!). Now you want to do a run through a mouse hole (oh! HI Greg or EEEEE!!) and claim that because I am “into” Christianity and “into” Buddhism and “into” Arab religions, and “into" Native religions and “into” Asian religions, and “into" ancient religions and “into" Jewish religions, and "into" actually THOUSANDS of religions and mythologies…and "into" the psychologies that inform these superstitions…because I speak to the things on science and philosophy threads you have become so frightened of!--that I am one of you!! Sorry pal! My wife and I do not believe in your seven year old infantile lifestyles. But greg or ee does--and you can all live off your floor wiping wives for all I care. You know who does. Ha!!! Now you don’t know whether my wife and I are atheists or mindless social insects like yourself! You’ve called us horrible atheists--believing in such terrible scientific things! But now you hope that we are one of you! Now you hope that we believe in talking donkeys and all that silly crap! Sorry, young fella! You three losers are on your own.
