I think that Xoom is more than $25 dollars difference compared to iPad. First you have significant economy of scale on parts, more than $25 dollars worth I'm betting. Then you have unneccessary features for most people that Motorola is throwing in to try to differenetiate themselves on a hardware basis from iPad like a 4G chip when 90% of these things never leave the home, a USB port which few people need in truth, an SD card slot that few people need, higher resolution camera and flash when how many are going to use a tablet for anything other than video conferencing. Lot of extra cost useless stuff for 90+% of the market.
